Does anyone have extracted audio files (like Castle briefs and pilot speech)? I want to write a piece of fiction centered around the events of Mercs and I need to transcript them.
If you have them for Vengeance or BK I'd appreciate those as well because they're my next project.

mmm, interesting. I've just been given a nice little gift from a friend called Audacity with a boat load of plug-ins. I have no reason to use but he thought it would be cool anyway. Such as it is, this might give me a chance to use it. My settings are set to "stereo mix", so I'm guessing if I run the game with the Audacity behind it, I should capture all the audio. I'm a noob with this stuff but I'll experiment during the week see if it works.

@Simply Complicated:
don't use the forums to discuss those else you'll be hearing from the admins soon. ripped briefings don't differ much from ripped OSTs, and we know how they feel about those discussions wink.gif

Nova extractor can play the sound files in mw4. Or so I've heard.

So can Game Audio Player

Or so it says...

Remember, the tracks aren't exactly labeled as "Castle briefing Haloran 1".

Tested it, and it worked perfectly.
